OMI VAIDYA as "Assar"

Omi Vaidya loves to act and finds it one of the most enjoyable things in the world. In fact, he’s been acting since he was a child back in his desert hometown of Joshua Tree. During high school, Omi moved in with his brother just so he could attend the exclusive Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and learn the proper methods of theater acting. After graduating, Omi attended UC Santa Cruz for 2 years and won a student award for his music video “Air.” It was then that Omi was accepted to the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at NYU where he graduated with honors. His film “Out of Time” won numerous awards and was selected to screen at over 25 film festivals worldwide. After college, Omi moved back to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. To date, Omi has acted in commercials for CMT and MTV and played significant roles on TV shows such as NBC’s “The Office” and FOX’s “Arrested Development.” Omi’s very excited about playing “Assar” in the new film “Rolling” and hopes his acting will help educate people about the effects of ecstasy.
